Washington
probably thinks that current Greek government is ready to fall
by
system failure
It is so
hard someone to believe this. It's another good indication of what
Greece has become, one more time, to the powers that always
determined its destiny. Barack Obama announced the successful
destruction of Syrian chemicals but didn't bother to mention Greece,
even among "allies":
US President Obama said that his
administration was grateful to the joint mission of the United
States and its Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical
Weapons (OPCW) that helped to “rid the Syrian regime of its
chemical weapons” in a White House statement, published on
Monday.
“We also thank our close allies
and partners – Denmark, Norway, Italy, Finland, Germany, and the
United Kingdom – for their key contributions to this mission,
and we appreciate the assistance of Russia and China,” Barack
Obama said in the statement.

After all
the assistance of the Greek puppet government, concerning the
destruction of chemicals, and mostly, its tolerance to the fact that
Cape Ray proceeded to the hydrolysis without any observers on
board who could certify the successful completion without
environmental implications close to Crete's shores, the US
president apparently thought that there is no reason to mention a
"taken for granted ally":
According
to our information, we understand that the Mediterranean is used
by the US because the method of hydrolysis on board will be
conducted for the first time and will be essentially an
experiment. Additionally, scientists admit that they don't know
the consequences to the 35 year old ship by the chemical
substances. Cape Ray will be accompanied by navy forces from
Greece, Turkey and Germany to protect it from a terrorist attack.
During
the press conference, Vangelis Pissias, one of the organizers of
the mission, criticized Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for
Foreign Affairs, Evangelos Venizelos, stating that he doesn't know
what is going on in his country and he doesn't speak with the
American officials who behave like preponderant [over country's
decisions]. The mayor of Sfakia
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sfakia),
Pavlos Polakis, stated that, according to information from the
mission members, hydrolysis is taking place just 75-100 miles from
Crete's shores.
According
to the activists' website
(http://destruction-of-chemical-weapons.blogspot.gr/),
a coast guard boat was discreetly following the boats of the
mission during the first hours of sailing, while subsequently they
were under surveillance by a drone and a helicopter.

Not to
mention the fact that the Greek government rushed to align with the
US sanctions against Russia, paying a high price in such a disaster
scenery for the Greek economy
(http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/08/the-most-faithful-puppets.html).
Yet, Obama
thanked his "ostensible" ally, Germany
(http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/07/who-is-considered-ostensible-ally-by-us.html)
and others, even "rivals" like Russia and China for their
contribution, but again, Greece was nowhere among them!
Either we
should start to believe that Greece is eventually considered an
ostensible ally by the US rather than Germany, or that Washington
(and Moscow) consider current Greek government ready to fall with no
chance to regain power, so, they are waiting for the next one to make
their moves.
There
is no reason to adopt the first explanation since the Greek
government followed faithfully every willing of the US, NATO and
European "partners" in various issues (Greek debt problem,
Ukraine, Middle East, etc.), therefore, the most probable explanation
is the second one.
